All purchasers must be able to pass a FFL background check prior to taking possession of firearms. The cost of background checks will be as follows: First gun with CDW permit $25, no CDW permit $35, and $10 per gun after first gun. Handgun and handgun ammunition buyers must be 21 years of age and a resident of Kentucky. Long gun and long gun ammunition buyers must be 18 years of age, and any out of state long gun buyer must pick up in person. All guns must be picked up by the actual buyer listed on the invoice.
